How long have you been selling your used panties and what inspired you to begin?
I haven’t been selling very long and am still very new. Even though I had previously worked in the adult industry, I never considered that there may be a demand for used panties and related fetish items. To be honest I think it’s exciting, it serves a purpose in the industry and it satisfies a variety of needs and tastes!
How do you select which items to sell?
I try to choose items from the buyer’s perspective. I prefer to take custom orders and like to shop with the customer virtually. I can take photos in the store or from a selection of my stock but I care about what they buyer is looking for in fabric, cut and color. I also choose garments and items that stimulate me as well. If I find something sensual and arousing, I want that item. I recently sold pussy pearls, both because they were elegant and felt deliciously sexy on my body and in my body.
Could you share what led you to be a little more open than some used panty sellers by revealing your face?
I like to consider the final product of the picture, will my face add something to a picture, or is it more seductive to hide and show off a single part of my body? Whatever the choice I make, I feel that women should be EMPOWERED to love their bodies and their sexuality and not be shamed into suppressing that aspect of them. Hopefully if you are in the adult industry it is because you enjoy being there, it will certainly make you more successful!
What types of guys buy your panties?
The awesome ones! Seriously though, a variety of men have been buyers. Young men, old men, business men, average Joe's. I think this site affords men an opportunity to fulfill a more challenging desire, they may feel embarrassed (not that they should!) by their fetish or might just be curious. Hey now, I have to point out, I’ve made purchases too ;)
Have you gotten any requests that are too far out?
Everyone has been quite gentlemanly, I have had a few that really want to cam or are not truly interested in buying, but I just continue being pleasant. I take every request seriously and do whatever I feel comfortable with as long as it won't cause me or anyone else harm.
What do you think contributes most to your success in this business?
I allow myself to enjoy the process. I look forward to taking pics as “me time” where I can be creative, sexy and fun. I honestly enjoy talking with the buyers and sellers and I let that charisma flow. If you are not into something, people can tell. It is the same with any work in the adult industry. It does not matter how you look or what you are willing to do, you will not be successful if you don’t have a positive attitude.
How does Scented Pansy compare to other panty selling sites?
I would rate Scented Pansy as the BEST panty selling site I have worked with. I have a membership to another site that charges twice as much and I have made a single sale. That is a hard pill to swallow, and I likely will not be back there next month.
What’s the best advice you could give to new sellers?
Rinse,Tweet and Repeat. What do I mean? Cleanse your profile of stuff that is negative leaving only positive sexy imagery and words, and cleanse yourself of negative body image too. Tweet your ASS OFF and include all of the major panty sites as well as watch for tweets from men looking for hot panties. Repeat means treating every man (or woman) in a way that will make them a repeat customer; you truly owe a lot of respect to your buyer and let them know that. Also girls, be nice to each other. Two reasons, some sellers are also buyers (like me) AND if I can’t do what a buyer needs I am going to try and help them find someone who can.
