How long have you been selling your used panties and what inspired you to begin?
I started in February of this year with an ad on Craigslist (I’m so classy, I know). I was more inspired by curiosity than anything. I’ve always been a very curious person, and the idea of selling something that I wore every day was really intriguing to me. I thought that I’d just sell a few pairs to try it out and bought a pack of three lacy thongs for that purpose, but I ended up enjoying it so much that I did some research and found this site.
Do you do any other type of adult work?
Besides the stuff that I do on this site, no. I like being able to maintain some anonymity, and it seems like most other adult work forces you to sacrifice that.
What do you enjoy most about selling worn panties?
I like the creativity and variety. I thought that I’d just be selling underwear on this site when I joined, and I never thought that I’d branch out to the other types of things that I’ve done on here. My favorite order was actually a letter that I wrote something, which is so unlike anything that I expected to do on this site. I also love seeing the creative ways that other sellers make money here.
Do you ever get requests that are too extreme for you?
I don’t do baked goods. I’ve had a couple requests for that, but sticking poop in the oven just sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Any of your friends or family know or is this a secret pursuit for you?
I’ve told my close friends, and my roommate found out when she overheard a conversation that I was having with someone else (she actually thought that I was a cam model and wanted to interview me for an essay that she was writing). No one in my family knows, though.
What do you do for fun in your spare time?
I love reading and watching horror movies. You can also usually find me taking long walks or going to the gym.
What do you think contributes most to your success in this business?
That’s a good question. Maybe my flat tummy.
What’s the best advice you could give to new sellers?
Stand up for yourself. A lot of the buyers on here are wonderful, but there are ones who will try to bully or manipulate you into giving them stuff for free or at discounted rates. Remember that you’re your own boss on here, and don’t let anyone push you around.
How does Scented Pansy compare to other panty selling sites?
This is the only panty-selling site that I’ve been on, so I’m not the best person to answer this question. I do know from the research that I did when trying to pick a site that SP is much more affordable and just has a more welcoming atmosphere than a lot of the other sites that I was looking at.
Anything on your mind that you'd like to express that wasn't addressed in the interview?
This site has helped me so much to be more confident and to stand up for myself—both to men trying to buy panties and to people in my day-to-day life. I really appreciate everything that I’ve gotten from this experience and everyone who’s helped me.
